Did you know?
Red-necked wallabies can be found in south-eastern Australia and Tasmania. They find food (mainly consisting of grasses and herbs) in eucalyptus forests and adjacent grasslands and scrublands. They usually feed at night and rest during the heat of the day. Like all kangaroos they have a strong tail which serves to support and balance them. They move along using their long hind legs, while their short forelimbs with five fingers are used for grasping food and for support.
