In the interactive part of the exhibition, you can learn about Germany's endangered biodiversity and what you can do as an individual to protect it.
From a historical big cats house to a modern multimedia experience
In the fully renovated Ark Discovery House learn about species diversity, species conservation and our commitment to highly endangered primates in Vietnam:
- The new interactive exhibition at the beginning will impress you with its modern analogue and digital components as it illustrates how every individual can contribute to the protection of biodiversity with a few simple actions.
- In our newly built cinema room, you can watch a high-quality documentary about our species protection projects in Vietnam. The documentary takes you to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center (EPRC) in Cuc Phuong National Park and to the Cat Ba Langur Conservation Project (CBLCP) in Halong Bay. In moving images, you can see how we work every day to protect and breed highly endangered primates.
- A special highlight is the main room: a room-filling immersive experience that is one of its kind in the whole of Germany: impressive 360° projections on all of the walls, the ceiling and the floor immerse you in our commitment to species protection for highly endangered monkey species in Vietnam. The film scenes are accompanied by a specially composed and arranged soundtrack. You will go on a boat trip in Halong Bay, which is where you will find Cat Ba Island. There you will meet the last remaining and critically endangered golden-headed langurs.
