Did you know?

Yellow-headed day geckos live in bamboo forest stands in the rainforests and tropical dry forests of Madagascar. Like most geckos they have adhesive lamellae on the underside of their feet and tail, enabling them to move easily over very smooth surfaces. They are diurnal and feed on insects and other invertebrates. They lay their eggs on bamboo where it has split or broken.
