Did you know?

Yellow head dwarf geckos are tree-dwellers that feed primarily on small insects. They have reduced adhesive lamellae on their feet and thus are not able to walk across smooth surfaces like other geckos. The sexes can be distinguished by their colouring: females are a brownish-grey, while males are a yellowish-orange
to rusty red. The black-rimmed eye spots are very conspicuous and responsible for its Latin name (the Latin „ocellatus“ means „with little eyes“).
