These reptiles from the gecko family have special lamellae on their toes, with which they can even hold on to glass upside down. They are nocturnal and prey mainly on insects. Their natural habitat is humid rainforests. However, they are also found in settlements. Their clutches consist of one to two eggs, from which the young hatch after 100 to 180 days, depending on the temperature. The name „Tokeh“ comes from the sound they make („to-kay“).
