Outside of the breeding season, colonies with over 30 birds are also formed. They forage in trees, shrubs and on the ground, feeding on fruits, buds, nectar and invertebrates. Nests are made of leaves and branches and are built 1–3 m above the ground. They lay 2–4 eggs with brooding lasting 12–14 days.
