Did you know?
Blue-headed parrots can be found in flocks or pairs in most types of lowland forest, where they forage in treetops mainly for fruit. In cereal-growing areas, they also appear in flocks to feed on maize and rice. This is why these parrots are considered to be a pest in some areas. This species lays two to four eggs with an incubation period of 24 –29 days.
