Pteropus hypomelanus condorensis
Small flying foxes are mammals with the ability to fly and climb. On both sides of the body they have a wing membrane that extends from the neck to the fingers and then the ankle joints. They roost in branches during the day, positioned upside down and only become active in the late afternoon/early evening. Unlike our European bats, they are fructivores, feeding primarily on fruit.
